Oliver Cooper is the Chairman of Watford Conservatives, having been elected to the role in May 2022.
Oliver has been a member of Watford Conservatives since 2005. He grew up in Chorleywood, in Three Rivers, and campaigned in Watford in the general elections in 2005 and 2010, when we finally took back the seat. There's nothing Oliver likes more than knocking on doors and listening to voters about what the Conservatives can do for them.
Oliver has extensive experience in local government, having been a councillor and the Leader of the Opposition in the London Borough of Camden. He was also previously the Deputy Chairman (Political) of Hampstead & Kilburn Conservatives.
Oliver is particularly interested in economic policy, planning and housing, and and the environment. Oliver is an international trade, tax, and regulatory lawyer by day.
