Watford is a great place to live - but we're campaigning to make it even better!
Our mission is to help the residents of Watford, making it a better place to live and striving to give it the very best representation at the local, county and national level.
Dean Russell MP is only in his first term having been first elected in 2019 but he has made a major impact on the town, representing our interests in Parliament with great determination and championing local causes with tremendous energy. A key priority of our Association is to work with him in promoting the interests of Watford and to support his work in our local communities.
We are worried about the general direction of our town. The local Lib Dem administrations in the Watford Borough and Three Rivers District Council are tired and making mistakes - from the over-development of the town and surrounding area to imposing stealth taxes like the gardening tax to fund vanity projects for photo-opportunities. We want our local councils to get back to basics and focus on delivering core services at a fair level of Council Tax.
We want our town to work closely with the Conservative Hertfordshire County Council so that together we can improve our local quality of life. And we support the efforts of David Lloyd, our Hertfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner to keep bearing down on crime and to support the victims of criminal activity.
To achieve all this we champion local causes throughout the area through our network of local branches. Our campaigns are supported by a fast growing group of Young Conservatives.
Through surveys, canvassing, petitions and our campaigns, we listen to local concerns and speak up for a Watford that’s cleaner, greener and safer for everyone.

And if you'd like to support us, we'd be pleased to welcome you a member. As a member you'll be invited to local events - these range from political discussions to social events. These are great fun, a wonderful opportunity to chat to like-minded people and help us to raise the funds we need to win elections.
If you would like to join our team of local campaigners that would be great. From putting up a poster, delivering a few leaflets, helping to run a local election campaign, to standing for election itself, there is a variety of different activities to suit all tastes and available time.
We'd be pleased to hear from you.
