Watford YCs aim to provide a platform and be a voice for all those between 15-25 living in the town - whether at school, college or work - in the local party and the constituency.
Members aged between 15–25 gain access to our branch at a discounted cost of £5 per year. This involves socials, speaker events, debates, forums to discuss current affairs and a strong support bubble, as well as the wider association offer. Our events allow like-minded members to gather, network and gain skills, all whilst contributing to our political work across the town.
A few high-level politicians have recently addressed our Association including our Young Conservative members, such as Rt Hon Jacob Rees Mogg MP, Rt Hon Suella Braverman QC MP and Dehenna Davison MP.
Young Conservatives also get involved with a wide host of campaigning events, from delivering to calling on potential supporters. We regularly campaign in general and local elections, providing energy and invaluable support to our candidates.
We provide the environment to get involved as much as you would like, whether you have further political ambitions or simply want to help make a real change in Watford.
The team in Watford share strong Conservative values, and this is maintained by a strong grassroots team of our younger members to really promote the benefits of being a Conservative & Unionist Party member.
We are constantly growing and beginning to really make a large impact in the local party. The leaders of the future are created here – get in touch and see what we are all about!
