Playground Revamp
Terry and the Conservative team are calling for new investment in The Mead and Greenfield Avenue play areas. Both are much loved facilities which need a revamp so they remain an asset to our community.
The Greenfield Avenue play area is owned by the Parish Council and The Mead play area is owned by Three Rivers but maintained to date by the Parish.
Now that the Romilly Drive play area has been upgraded, we call upon the Parish and District Councils to work together to upgrade our two remaining shabby play areas in Greenfield Avenue and behind The Mead.
County Council Freeze Tax
County Councillor Frances Button is delighted to confirm that for the third consecutive year Herts. County Council will freeze its share of the Council Tax in 2012-2013.
Noticeboard Spring Clean
Parish Cllrs. Bryan Jukes and Eric Bishop are demanding quick replacement of the shabby Parish Notice Boards which give a poor impression of Carpenders Park. We hope the Residents’ Association will be allowed to use Parish Boards to display community news.
Skate Park Complete!
The new skate park in the playing field behind Romilly Drive and Little Oxhey Lane is now complete. We congratulate the young people involved in the design and hope it is well used by Carpenders Park folk.
