St. Thomas’ United Reform Church, Langley Road, was opened in the mid-70s, together with its complex of facilities that has served Watford residents so admirably.
Time, fashion and particularly economics have taken their toll on the building which has, for some time, been considered to be approaching the state of being ‘unfit-for-purpose’.

This will necessitate the selling off of some of the adjacent land with the inevitable implication that it will be considered suitable for housing.
