Diane Day and the Conservative Team say “Thank you to all who replied to our Autumn Oxhey Hall survey. We are delighted to have received so many responses.”
We are pleased to announce that the first part of the road safety measures at Old North Western Avenue is now complete with the curbs being raised on the bend near the Courtlands Drive roundabout.
County Councillor Frances Button and the Conservative Team has consulted your Residents’ Association, Parish and District Councillors and Highways Engineers on how best to allocate £65,000 of extra money for local road and pavement repairs.
Frances is asking for salt bins near the junctions with Hampermill Lane to be moved to the steeper sections of the joining roads. This will move the bins to where they are really needed and away from junctions with the salting route.
To save £1.3million a year and to reduce pollution, many residential streets in Oxhey Hall are set to be switched off between midnight and 6am. They will of course come on between sunset and midnight, and from 6am.
